The one thing compliance officers should be focused on

While it’s important to focus on achieving your particular compliance goals the question every compliance officer should be asking themselves is: How can I support the business to grow in an environment where risk is managed effectively? Compliance is not separate from the business and compliance should not be a road block to growth. Many compliance officers direct their attention to solving issues happening right now instead of paying attention to the rising issues in the future.

You can add value to your firm by outsourcing traditional and administrative responsibilities giving you time to refocus on supporting your CEO on what really matters – business growth.
